Disclaimer

Goodgis has no control over Badgis and his, for lack of a better word, bad behavior. In no way do the characters in this game reflect real personalities or people. Well, I guess technically they could but that's besides the point. This "amazing" experience is tongue and cheek game, so please don't talk any of this to heart.

Solved it by accident!

I actually watched your video, so I decided to play this game. It was actually really fun to play. I got lost like 5 times! :)

Ok, so I saw your video so I know that there's secret lore to this game so I'm going to try and guess:

Badgis is a lonely, magical elf who needed friends. He became desperate and built a maze to trap his victims in. After a while in the maze, his victims would slowly turn into objects over time, like a potted plant, a stack of wood, and even a door. You, the player, must escape the maze and get home before you yourself are turned into an object and become Badgis' "friend" forever.

Does this have a secret level cause I just spend half an hour mapping the whole maze out and I still haven't discovered anything yet :(

I started it up for the first time, skipped all the dialog, ran in a very random direction and reached my home. Now I'm thinking that maybe I should've went the other way..

A lot of people have had the issue of the screen being awkwardly casted to the corner upon opening the game, including myself. I managed to fix that by pressing esc to reveal the cursor, resizing the window until I could see the bar on the top and then fullscreening it by pressing the fullscreen button. Hope this helps anyone with the same issue! :D

I made a review of this game and gave my thoughts on the game. The game was pretty interesting. But there was a bug that I forgot to mention in the video. I found that wouldn't let me put the game in full screen or windowed it awkwardly sat to the side of my screen. I tried the fixes that you suggested with other people but it didn't work. But all of my other feedback is in the review so check it out!

Hiii, I've made a video about the game and wanted to share some feedback about it, hopefully it is useful to you ^^

-The concept and "short story" are intereting.

-The gameplay mechanics are pretty simple and fit well the theme of the game.

-The characters on the game have some really interesting and fun dialogues.

-The visual style of the game is quite good.

Hopefully this is useful to you :D, also if you could subscribe that would help me a lot :)

Regards

Thanks for playing! :D I appreciate it.

You are welcome ^^

Is the end screen supposed to just not respond to anything and you have to hit escape to get the mouse back and force close on windows or is there an exit button that I'm missing? I even tried clicking the mouse and it doesn't seem to work either.

Also, it is a little odd to require the space bar to jump at the beginning, but have no other use for it in the game?? Unless there was a secret I missed? Cute little game, though.

One last thing I remembered. One of the character's dialogs flows outside the dialog box area.

Thanks for sharing! You're absolutely right haha. I was really rushed and ran out of time.

i think badgis is the ego of goodgis so the grave is actually goodgis saying to the player he's his only friend 😥

and also there are the com of Firith studio saying its not bad soooo the elfe are not badgis BUT goodgis 👀

ouch, my brain.

When I launch the game, it isn't centered and I don't know how to fix this. I thought I'd just point that out. [Image]

press ESC :D

Thanks

I have this same exact problem, but pressing esc doesn't fix it for some reason. I've tried F11 and Alt+Enter already and nothing. My screen resolution is 1366x768 if that helps.

LOL, maybe that's it. I might not have had it scale properly. I'll look into it.

Yes, I have the same screen resolution.

You have to resize the window to get it to work!

i will try to get the secret lore but Mhh i'm not sure if i will get it ^^

Not bad. Or should I say not good?
